I ride a new Piaggio scooter – I don't know weather I should get a propper leather biker jacket with Armour and stuff or just normal clothing?
Bearing in mind its only 50cc and maxes at 30mph ~
Get A Textile CE Approved, Armoured Jacket
Also Get Good Gloves And Good, Over Ankle-Height Boots!!
Textile Jackets Are More Comfortable Than Leather, Are Waterproof And A Bit Cheaper.
Also 30Mph Yhoo Say?!?!?
Have Yhoo Ever Been Scraped Along The Ground At 30Mph? !Think Of GRAVEL RASH! 30Mph Still Hurts When Yhoor Sliding Along On Yhoor A rse, Especially With Just Thin Clothing And A Few Layers Of Bare Skin For Protection!!

Get some gloves and a proper protective jacket that will keep you warm and dry and has CE approved body armour (trousers too if you can afford it). Look at it this way – you're doing thirty mph, the car coming towards you is doing thirty (at least), that makes an impact speed exceeding 60mph. Still feeling confident it won't hurt?

look at TAG or the SCOOTERIST mags
There you will see specific clothing designed for the scooter rider
CE armour waterproof.
Save your normal clothing and your skin.
A leather Biker jacket is nice and a good investment if you are going on to a motorbike later. But looks really out of place on a piaggio. Go for style and safety.
Hein gericke have a range to suit. including parka style as per the 1960's scooter fad
But most of all Get protected keep warm and safe and have fun

lol ha ha ha
do they have one that says pussy in pink across the back?
Maybe some flowers and construction workers too lol.
how much protection do you think you need if your bike max is 30mph? You know some humans can almost run that fast right?
