This might sound crazy, but does anyone else’s cat…….?

Does anyone else’s cat drag things(articles of clothing, stuffed animals, etc) out around the house?
My husbands cat Scooter is so goofy! he will go to the dirty clothes hamper and pull out anything he can carry. Then he drags it through the house and howls like he is the loneliest cat in the world.
He will also go into my daughters’ room, and drag out underpants, bras, stuffed animals, etc, and howl some more. i used to blame the kids for making such a mess all over the house.
Once when i was cleaning my son’s room, i found a bunch of girls under garments in the corner of his room, and puzzled i questioned him and just as he was denying doing it, here comes the cat dragging my bra in the room. we tease him about it now, but…
Also, he will open my dresser drawers and paw around in the hat, glove and scarf drawer, until he finds some thing fuzzy and drag it out and through the house.
PLZ tell me that someone else has a crazy cat like ours!?
Or do i need to get him some help? LOL
thanks!
oh dear! he doesnt do any thing like that but he meows like he is starved for attention. we just arent sure why he does this. ha ha.

My cat finds treasures all over the house and carries them all upstairs into my bedroom and puts them all under the bed for me each and every night. (if only he would find a decent man to put under there for me I would be very happy lol) He carries things like mobile phones, reading glasses, keys, staplers, stuffed toys, papers, pens, cutlery, just anything he can find (its amazing the size of some of the things he carries).

The best one was he had a balloon on a string which every single night for two months he would religiously carry up the stairs and then spend at least half an hour each night trying to pull by the string the balloon under the bed (of course, it would never fit..and he would eventually give up after putting it behind the wardrobe).

No other cat I have ever owned has done this…but it’s Mr. Hamish’s quirk so we live with it. We know if anything is MIA to go look under the bed first. .

As for your cats and your clothes….Im no expert, but wonder if it is your scent they are looking for. When my husband passed the only way I could console our dog from howling all night was to put an article of my husbands clothes to the dog and he would settle instantly each time??

hahaha nah you're not alone! my 4year old male cat drags peoples clothes and my sisters toys to various parts of the house and makes this sicko growling noise then dry humps them. it's gross. he now has this scarf once belonging to my sister, now known as "lex's scarf" because he is often found curled up in it after one of his 'sessions' haha. one time he was humping a blanket in the loungeroom so i started recording it on my phone, then he saw me, made the growl noise and ran up to me and straddled my arm and tried to dryhump it :( he's desexed and everything so i don't know how to stop it haha. it makes him special :]
