Winsome thoughts below. Are you currently convinced it is the accurate strategy to appear at it nevertheless? My personal personalized expertise is always that we must virtually live and permit live due to the fact what 1 particular person thinks just -- one more particular person purely does not. Human beings are going to complete what they want to try and do. In the end, they often do. By far the most we can hope for is usually to set up a few things below and there that hopefully, will allow them to generate just a small much better informed choice. Otherwise, wonderful post. You're surely generating me consider

You've gotta be absolutely kidding me, right?! Talk about living the life..... jeez

Don't call her spoilt? Well, I'm 150% sure that your daughter is definatley over spoilt.
Theres nothing wrong with spoiling your daughter, but your teaching her to appreciate nothing and that everyone will just give her what she wants because thats whats happened her whole life!
Whats wrong with receiving one special gift and a few presents? Whats wrong with receiving something special that she really wants?

I'd love to see that Sweet 16 birthday list! I think its discusting how you are boosting to everyone else on Yahoo how shes getting an 'expensive piggyback' and a 'Nintendo DSi with 25 games'
I think its pretty rude. Your teaching your kid to appreciate NOTHING.
I'd love to see the look on her face if she woke up with no presents on her birthday. Or if she woke up to find one special gift. I reckon that if you have her something really special, for eg, a Pandora Bracelet, and thats all she got, I reckon she wouldn't appreciate how much that bracelet cost. I reckon she would be saying 'Is that it?!'

Pretty bad, huh.
Try living in Haiti or something. Maybe then you'll appreciate something/
References :
Whoop-dee-doo. Should we be impressed?

Yay for you and your kids. Do we really need to know all of this??? Does your daughter really need all of this?

How about instead of instilling a sense of entitlement and greed, you instill a sense of giving and charity?
References :
I agree with someone else on this post. Don't call her spoiled? We love her? So what about the child that gets a barbie for her birthday? Her parents don't love her because they don't spend thousands of dollars on her? You aren't teaching your daughter anything by purchasing tons of expensive gifts. And I don't believe this question anyway. Why would you spend all this money on gifts and then in your next question which is almost the same say how you need cheap ideas for San Diego? If you were short on money, why did you travel from Florida to San Diego to pick up a puppy? They don't have puppies in Florida?

You will have to continuously have to try and top yourself now because she's not going to be satisfied next year if she gets one gift from you.

Your whole family should do some volunteer work so you can see how other people have to live their lives. Maybe it will inspire you and your daughter to help and donate to others rather than wasting all your money on frivoulous things that don't mean anything. I mean really, she needs two bikes and a second pair of UGGs after she just got them less than two months ago? For any normal, non-spoiled child a puppy alone would have been more than enough for a 10th birthday gift.
References :
Lady, Are you insane? How are you going to top it for next year? Buy her a 3 ring circus? She gets a DSI and 25 games? A Wii and 30 games? Who does that!? I have a ton of extremely rich friends and they don't spoil their children like you do. Pace yourself.
I hope you all have already set 100k aside for each of your children for their college funds. And I hope you are also having them spend some time in soup kitchens or homeless shelters or some place where they can understand that not everyone has their lives without wants or needs.

It is obvious that your daughter doesn't do anything to have to earn what she wants. Trust me, in the long run, she will appreciate it much more if she works for it and although she is probably very sweet and loving child, you are doing her a grave disservice as she will grow up expecting everything without having to work for it. Tsk Tsk.

OMG... I just replied to your San Diego question, very nicely I might add, only to realize that it was the SAME person! Ugh, I deleted it. Shame on you. I started thinking, this is odd, both these kids are getting DSI's and puppies. So I went back to the author and lo and behold there is good ol MUTT. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
References :
she got a 'labtop' from santa? there's nothing that doesn't make me think you are the 10 year old wanting this stuff. why don't you make a story out of this instead of posting this long, pointless question?
